About
LaLumiNation host, Jimi LaLumia, is heralded in more than one book as "godfather" of the early 70's punk movement. A regular at Max's Kansas City in New York City, Jimi LaLumia & The Psychotic Frogs frequently performed there, sharing the stage with fellow punk rockers Jayne County (formerly Wayne County), Johnny Thunders and Cherry Vanilla. His single "Death to Disco" is still revered as an anthem of the anti-disco movement of the late 70's. The background music in this video series is an EDM remake of the 1966 classic "96 Tears," performed by Jimi himself, and produced by longtime producer/engineer Mark Gaide, who is VP of ChromeOrange Music • Media.
Each episode of LaLumiNation is infused with Jimi's rich history in the music business and includes many little-known facts and trivia tidbits you won't read in any book about the industry.
Enjoy!
